Zion, UT (Day 3)
Our last day in Zion was action packed: we did two hikes before leaving the park and still got on the road early enough to make a few stops along the way to our next destination (Page, AZ). One of the most unexpected joys during our trip was our stop at Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park in Utah, where we discovered we LOVE sandboarding. After hiking up the dunes and boarding back down them a few times we were totally wiped and ready to head to Page, where we stayed in a covered wagon on a working Navajo ranch. That night we had some of the best stargazing I’ve ever seen.
